Hatching Pal Eggs in Palworld: A Guide to Building the Egg Incubator and Starting Your Pal Collection

One of the exciting aspects of Palworld is hatching eggs to add new creatures to your roster. Whether you prefer combat or egg hunting, this guide will walk you through the process of building the Egg Incubator and hatching those elusive Pal eggs.

If you opt for the combat route, assembling a formidable squad of Pals is crucial. Additionally, having a Palworld mount can aid you in battles or expedite your search for eggs across the map. Here's a step-by-step guide on how to hatch Pal eggs and construct the essential Egg Incubator.

To create the Egg Incubator, you first need to research it in the Technology Tab, requiring Ancient Technology Points. Obtain these points by defeating the Syndicate Tower bosses, particularly the initial boss of Zoe and Grizzbolt at the Rayne Syndicate Tower. Once you've accumulated the necessary points, unlock the Egg Incubator in the right-hand column of the Technology menu. Here's the construction cost breakdown:

  1. Ten Paldium Fragments
  2. Five Cloth
  3. 30 Stone
  4. Two Ancient Civilization Parts

While most materials are easily obtainable, acquiring Ancient Civilization Parts might pose a challenge. You'll need to defeat another boss, an Alpha Pal roaming the world, to obtain these parts. Once you've gathered all the required materials, proceed to build the Egg Incubator in your base.

The next essential item for hatching eggs is, unsurprisingly, an egg. However, not just any egg will do. You specifically need Pal eggs, which you can discover while exploring the open world. Pal eggs are distinguishable by their large size and patterned exteriors. Common eggs exhibit pink and white stripes, while Uncommon Eggs are colored and named according to the type of Pal they'll hatch.

For instance, a Large Verdant Egg with shades of green will hatch into a Dinossom, an uncommon Grass-type Pal. To hatch a new Pal, follow these steps: select the Egg Incubator, place the desired egg inside, and patiently await the process.

The hatching duration depends on the egg's rarity and temperature. It's advisable to hatch eggs during the day, and while common ones might hatch quickly, rarer eggs may take a full day and night. Once the timer concludes, approach the Incubator and hold F to witness the hatching of your new Pal. Happy hatching.
