The Five Least Impressive Super Bowl Television Commercials

The Five Least Impressive Super Bowl Television Commercials

Fans have pleasant memories of certain Super Bowl commercials, but many would want to forget about others.

During one of the biggest athletic events of the year, advertisers do their best to make their advertisements stand out, but occasionally their concepts go too far and fall flat.

DAZN examines five of the worst TV shows that will be aired during the NFL's championship game.

GoDaddy - Ideal Complement (2013)

GoDaddy's advertisement was uncomfortable for viewers rather than one that kept them intrigued.

Two people made out during this specific commercial as the sounds were enhanced, and it's safe to say that it did not go over well, leaving viewers wondering what they had just watched.

Gerbil Cannon, Outpost.com (1999)

The attempt by Outpost.com to create a Super Bowl commercial was forgettable.

The corporation determined that shooting fictitious gerbils from a cannon would make the most use of its airtime, leaving viewers with only one question on their minds: why.

Lemmings (1985) by Apple

Apple had created one of the most impressive Super Bowl commercials the year before.

It was intriguing to see what the tech business would develop next, given our high hopes. Sadly, Apple's 1985 commercial had gloomy businesspeople whistling "Heigh-Ho" and then plunging down a cliff.

Here we have yet another Super Bowl commercial with a vague message.

The worst commercial ever is LifeMinders.com (2000)

Admitting that a commercial is the worst thing to air during the Super Bowl is sometimes the wisest course of action, and LifeMinders.com took that position.

With the opening line, "This is the worst commercial on the Super Bowl," the 30-second ad spared little money. After then, a series of commercial messages with an ominous piano accompaniment were displayed on screen to promote the company.

Evil Beaver from Miller Lite (1998)

Miller Lite's Super Bowl commercial, which showed a man riding a dirt bike while dressed like a beaver, seemed funny at first glance.

The beaver, however, would later ruin a log cabin constructed by some builders and then sip a glass of Miller Lite.

This advertisement also left viewers perplexed as to how it promoted a well-known beer brand.
